More Beautiful People

Even more photos that were just homework!  These all kind of look the same, but there was a certain type of photo we were assigned.

Beautiful People

It has been a LONG time since we took these pictures. These girls are incredible. Not to mention drop-dead gorgeous.  And extremely helpful, because they were willing to help me out with some last-minute homework.  I think this has been one of my favorite photoshoots up to date. The only problem is that I had just barely learned how to do an unsharp mask, and I got a little sharpness-happy.

And don't you love my new hat? Perfect vintage prop!

What to Wear: Family Session

I get the question of what to wear a lot.  I found these great templates from the Inspire Me Baby blog. You do NOT have to wear these clothes in any way, shape, or form.  These are simply ideas to get you started.  Notice how they are each template is based first upon a theme, such as fall or 50's, and then based around a few colors. Also, notice how in each set, there are different textures, patterns, and lots of layers.  These aren't matchy-matchy, but they still work because they are centered around a theme and a color theme.  If matchy-matchy is your style, that's perfectly fine, but these are just some ideas.  Double click to view larger.

Sneak Peek of the Week

All of these lovely people helped me out with my photo class when I needed some models.  Unfortunately for them, I'm not as helpful as they are, because I haven't gotten their photos done. The poor souls.

This last one makes me laugh so so so hard!  He was very tired of having his picture taken.

One more idea:  If anyone out there is interested in getting pictures in the snow, there is this adorable Christmas tree farm in Logan, and the owner said he would be perfectly fine with letting us have a session there.

This family was great!  It was sooooooooo cold and overcast, so we were lucky we were able to get what we did.  I don't have time to post all of them, but here are my favorites!
